The Divergent series by Veronica Roth is an amazing middle school- high school read. The 5 factions separate all people and in these three books you learn about the plot on destroying them. Beatrice Prior is an Abnegation girl who can only look at herself every three months because of modesty rules from her faction. Beatrice wanting to have freedom chooses Dauntless on her choosing day, one of two in a very long time. Beatrice, changing her name to Tris, learns how to shoot, fight and jump onto moving trains to be let into Dauntless. When Four tells Tris that he likes her and shows her his fear landscape, Tris finds out who he really is. When the Erudite plot and attack on the Abnegation only a few people can stop the attack. In this Dystopian series you will learn the true meaning of divergent and how it applies to the story. I hope you enjoy this book.
